Specially treated, paper backed, 8.5" x 11" sheets of silk fabric run smoothly through all brands of inkjet printers. The fabric is treated with the Fabrisign coating so the colors remain permanent and water resistant, but they do require pigment based inks are used, not dye based inks.
Also, the fabrics will remain soft with no 'feel' left over from the coating and printing. Please note that while permanent and water resistant, the fabric should not be washed or dry cleaned as this can degrade the color quality.
Very easy to use:
- Create your design onscreen
- Test on paper for orientation
- Increase ink saturation in your printer options
- Load 1 sheet of your inkjet fabric
- Print your design
- Peel the fabric off the paper backing
- Allow to dry for 24 hours

The silk I printed so far is excellent. I used it for an embroidery design. Not only was I pleased with the results my classmates and teacher were also impressed. Only reason I didn't give a five is because I have not used all the sheets yet.

I tried both silk charmeuse & silk satin found the silk charmeuse is superior for 2 reasons:1. print quality was better (the black not so smudged) 2. it didn't fray as muchColour was vibrant & with lining for support project worked out gr8!

I was not completely satisfied with this product. Some of the material within the package contained "pulls" and could not be used. Also the material did not come off of the paper backing easily without fraying. I used fray check along the edges prior to running the paper through my printer. This helps with fraying however it does leave a mark so I needed to get creative with stitching.

I love the silk printable fabric sheets. The Charmeuse in particular prints the Pantone colors from Illustrator nice and bright. As long as you set your printer on "best quality" not "photo paper".

The inkjet silka samples were fine. However I have no idea what printer profiles to be using when I make the prints. Is there a resource where I can download the appropriate profiles? Or that tells me which existing profile might b best to use with the silk?

I use these sheets for making 16 scale print scarves for dolls. The satin (rather than the other silks) drapes more realistically in this scale. I pick the ends of the scarves so the fraying creates a nice fringe. The fabric is straighter on backing than other brands I have tried.

I love love love the way I can have an image printed onto a piece of silk with such ease. Every detail is there and it's so easy !. Quality is very good.

I used this product with a class of 8 students. I did a demonstration on the silk. Everyone went home with a sample and your catalog for future orders. The class was excited to go home to create.
