Setacolor Silk Screen Stencils

Dragonfly, ballet slippers, cupcakes, lace collars, Russian nesting dolls, butterflies, antique sewing machine! The Setacolor Silk Screen Stencils come in two weaved 8 x 11.5" and eight 8.25 x 6" reusable thin flexible stencil designs with a tacky backing. Kind of like a silk screen & stencil hybrid. Save time from the process of burning an image on a silk screen. With multiple intricate designs on one sheet just cut along the dotted line to separate the design of your choice. Place the stencil on fabric or any textile surface and apply the paint, its that easy. Each stencil comes with a spatula. Use in application with a spatula, sponge stamp or brush.

Washing Instructions: After use, wipe it off with a clean damp cloth to remove any fabric fibers, and then air dry before storing - to extend the usage capability. Instructions say - up to 10 usages, but, with extra care, you can extend the time.

Helpful hints:

• If adhesive wears off - a non-stick spray adhesive could be used.
• The Silk Screen stencils work GREAT with ALL of the liquid textile paints: Setacolor Opaque, Opaque Pearl, Shimmer, Suede Effect, Light Fabrics and Glitter Paints!
• The glitter is “fine enough” enough to pass through the screen easily. It performs beautifully! For the Suede colors - in order to get the best “flocked” effect - the paint should be applied fairly thickly.
• As well - it is always helpful to remove the stencil before the paint dries - to prevent paint - from sticking to the stencil. We recommend to keep a cotton swab handy - to clean up - any “little mistakes” that may result from paint overflow.
