At .5 mm in diameter Clover's thin pins won't leave marks, even in your light-weight fabrics. The red and white heads are made of a heat-resistant, ironproof glass. They can easily withstand the heat of an iron and are small enough that they don't get in the way while sewing. The package includes a plastic storage case.

Fine Silk Pins with glass heads are what I use for my everyday sewing projects but also for heirloom sewing and lace shaping with French and English lace. I was happy to find these at Dharma so I ordered a set. The glass heads are easy to see insert and remove for patchwork quilting. They are especially handy when using a hot steam iron because the glass heads are durable and will not melt. Every seamstress should own a set of these. Lastly they do not leave pin holes when used on silk fabric which makes them very important to have on hand. Recommend! A good value.

Pointy!! Well made. Not worried about the little ball heads falling off as happens with cheaper Ebay or Wish versions. Handy clickety little box.
