Funny name aside, a niddy noddy is a very handy tool. Take your hand spun yarn right from the wheel bobbin and wind it in to a tidy skein. It has specially shaped crossbars that allow the skein (hank) of yarn to slide off easily. If you have tried to make a skein (hank) around the back of a chair, you will know the difference! Tapered ends for easy skein removal. Made from turned Silver Beech hardwood. Easy to dismantle for storage or portability. Includes complete instructions. Makes a skein that is 1.5m (5') around.

Came with a piece of sand paper for fitting and finishing instructions. I just slapped the ends on and started using it. Nice smooth wood.
