You'll love the way this melts. It's so much easier to portion out than the blocks and you'll never worry about waste again. Just scoop and melt. It's really that simple. This microcrystalline wax (aka Sticky Wax) melts at around 140°F. As with most sticky waxes, it is more pliable and tends not to crack very much. Batik artists often mix it with paraffin to increase the crackle, or use it for outlining or areas where they want solid coverage.
Remember to work in a well ventilated area.
