A very sheer, crisp fabric that is strong and durable with a firm hand and a flat, smooth texture. Readily accepts and reflects strong, brilliant colors. Easy to dye but resists dye spreading, making it difficult for watercolor type techniques but easy for direct painting without guttas with minimum wicking. This fabric has been optically whitened. Whiteness can vary.

- Available in cut yardage and in 55 yard bolts
- Machine wash in any temperature water

I sent this never got any response: Crister W Dear Crister WI received my order and I am very pleased with every item. The one big problem I have is with the way things were packaged. All that beautiful silk fabric shoved into a small box along with a bottle of cleaner that wasn't secured so it was crushing everything else in transit! Everything was OK except the silk organza. It was folded in a roughly 10 inch square then put between the 2 yards of velvet and the silk gauze folded again and put in with the rest of the order. There are many creases in this piece of fabric that will never come out completely due to the nature of this stiff bodied fabric. Your silk organza is a gorgeous fabric but I would hesitate to order any large quantity if it is going to be treated in this way. I ordered 1 yard pieces of several fabrics mostly to see if it was what I wanted with plans to order larger quantities in the future. Mostly I make small things with this fabric and can work around the creases but if I was making a larger garment would not be able to use this in the condition in which it was received. I dug around just yesterday to find out who I ordered the Silk Organza from. I need to order more! Fantastic value for anyone that uses and especially for those of us that use it for underlining. I use the selvages for stay tape for bias cut fabrics that I do not want to stretch during wear. So happy to have found you.

I use silk organza to underline suit jackets when using the Chanel methods. I also underline silk fabric for suits with organza. I was almost out of organza and ordered from you again.

The silk organza is great. It is ash to work with and dyes great! I have used it and am using it for several projects and every time feel so happy to have a great resource. I love that it comes in 55 also. Its a must have to keep in your supply.
