They say you get what you pay for, and this fabric is worthy of your nicer projects! Original MCCB is 60" wide to allow for any size project. New MCCB45 is 45" wide.

MADE in USA!!!!!!! The quality of the fabric surpasses the mainstream cheaply made Chinese cottons you find at the big chain stores!! Bravo for finding this! Worked up fantastic and had the hand weight and feel of cotton sheeting from the 19th century. The selvage edges are identical to the original fabrics also produced back then great not to have to put up with fuzzy edges and HOLES at the selvage. Bonus on the width. Worth every penny and more. You have a REPEAT CUSTOMER AND I AM SPREADING THE WORD ON THIS!!!!! I Belong to a 19th century sewing group with 1300 members. I rate it a 20 on a scale of 1-5!!!!!!

I prefer using this mercerized cotton for dyeing rather than Kona cotton. The colors achieved are more intense and I like the closer weave of the fabric. If you are going to spend time dyeing your own fabcric it is worth the small exta cost to use quality materials.

I have been looking for a high thread count cotton for my art quilts for dyeing and for drawing on with colored pencils. On top of this fabric being exactly what I have been seeking it is a reasonable price. I love this fabric and plan to purchase it many times.
