Fabric Details
- 100% cotton, PFD
- 4.4 oz. per square yard, 45" wide
- Thread count is 60 threads per inch x 60 threads per inch
- Dyes amazingly with our Fiber Reactive Dyes
- Suggested usage; for quilting, shirting, blouses, dresses, children's clothing etc.
- We found that this shrinks 3% in Length and 5% in Width disclaimer
- Fabric has a soft luscious feel and smooth surface
- Available in cut yardage (bulk discounts levels at 10+ yds.) and in 30 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water
- This fabric is PFD

It dyes beautifully and has a nice consistant finish. I used Procion MX dyes with shibori techniques and now have 10 yds. of good-looking fabric to play around with.

Great fabric-I do multiple dyeings and discharging on the same fabric and this stuff really really holds up to abuse. Nice hand nice weight.

If you are looking for high quality PFD cotton this is it. This fabric works well with many different dyes and mediums. It is very versatile and the resulting projects look great!

I like it MUCH better than regular Kona Cotton fabric (which looksfeels like an entirely different fabric so I'm not sure why it shares the name). This (Kona Premium) is dense tightly woven and smooth where the Regula Kona Cotton is loose textured and a bit fuzzy. This is about a 200 thread count as another user mentioned while the regular 45" Kona is much closer to a decent quality muslin at 60x60. Even though the regular Kona is softer to the touch at first and this Kona Premium does require extra scouring to get it to take the dye the same way and soften up it is WELL worth it and I can tell it will last much longer.

This is my go-to all time favorite cotton of all time. It frays a little not a major problem. Just bought my fifth bolt of the stuff cant get enough. I use it in quilts mostly and I love how beautifully it dyes how substantial it feels. Now my mom (also quilter) found it too heavy. Shes used to the stuff from the store that I consider cheap and flimsy so your mileage may vary. Did I mention I adore kona?

Used it for making masks and it's nice and thick filtration material tight weave. I used it as basically interfacing with silk on the inside and decorative fabric scraps on the outside and it worked really well is comfortable after dyeing and washing. Dye came out a touch lighter than expected but overall very good
