Lanai Crop Pant Cotton Gauze

These are lovely pants. I wanted to see about shrinkage so I wouldn't have to worry about it - so I washed them in hot water (in a newish Maytag) and dried in I think the permanent press setting of an old dryer. This pair is a 3X. The waistband was 43" on arrival and 41" after I shrank them. I measured the length of the center back of the left leg before and after. Before they were between 41.25" and 41 and 38. Afterwards they were just over 38 and 58. (Sorry about the mixed units.) So about a 2.75" loss.So if anyone else is curious this was my experience. I am quite happy with them and consider that this is well within expected shrinkage. (I think it works out to like 6%.) Anyhoo. I basically measured flat and tried not to stretch the material but I did smooth it with my hand. Also they are soft and light and they are just a tad more than a little bit see through (as in the photo). If you wear undies that match your skin tone you can probably be just fine depending on your degree of modesty and so on and so forth.I am new here and I hope this doesn't seem like a negative review. I have had a tough time finding pants made out of light material so I am very happy to have found this website.
