Viscose is the first "synthetic" fiber invented. It was made as the new fiber to replace silk and is sometimes called artificial silk. As a manufactured cellulose fiber, it is neither truly natural (like cotton, wool or silk) nor truly synthetic (like nylon or polyester) - it falls somewhere in between.
Often referred to as a vegan fiber, the process of creating these lustrous tops from goopy wood pulp is fascinating. Be sure to look it up - knowledge is power but stuff like this is just cool!
These particular bumps are great quality with tons of sheen, and of course, soft as a baby bunny.
