The tagless version is good. The black tag version is a TERRIBLE cut. It is short. It is wide. The sleeves stand straight out - they do not drape the arms. The black tag version is unwearable. It isn't even wearable as loungewear because the awful fit makes it very uncomfortable - not just ugly.

Thickness of the fabric made it hard for dye to penetrate during tie-dying. Item also shrunk considerably (almost 2 sizes in after dye wash. I wouldn't recommend the Beefy T for tine-dying and pre-wash the item bc they don't stay true to size.

Heads up! Black tags are dyed and will bleed onto shirts if left in soda ash. The shirt had been washed on hot with dharmas detergent before and left in an over night bath of soda ash. Otherwise shirt was as expected. Nice feel boxy tee.

These are predictably sized. My wearing-public just wishes for a t-shirt that is slim and long. This one approximates that best so far.

Grandsons and I tie-dyed the medium extra large and 2X. In each case the next size down would have fit better. The fabric is of substantial weight and good quality. The thick wet material was a bit difficult to manipulate into banded sections. I will experiment with dry and misted shirts in hopes of getting better definition in the folds. (The soda ash soak done after the ties in place). The fiber took the 4% OWG MX solution very well. I put the plastic bagged shirts a couple feet away from my fireplace insert to cure for 48 hours turning the baggies over sporadically. We got beautiful supersaturated results.
