Here's the thing about bamboo:
To the best of our knowledge, our "Rayon Bamboo" products are made from 100% Bamboo (or for socks, 94% Bamboo rayon and 6% Spandex). There is a debate raging about how or if bamboo rayon is really "anti-bacterial", "sustainable", or "earth friendly", and if it is better or worse than other fibers for you and the planet.
We don't know! We just sell socks! We're like, sock guys, not scientists. The only claim we make is that your feet will be warmer with socks. Also, if you dye and decorate them, your feet will look better!

Wow, we scored a good one for you! Bamboo rayon socks are great for several reasons:
- They're soft, soft, soft!
- Rumor has it that bamboo rayon fibers are both highly absorbent and possibly bacteria resistant. What better qualities are there for a sock, we ask.
- Bamboo itself is a very renewable resource that grows fast without chemicals and pesticides.
- Still cellulose, so they dye beautifully with our Fiber Reactive Dyes.
We weren't originally serious about them because we thought they would be too expensive but we were able to get a really good price on these as they are basic summer weight socks. Nothing fancy in design, mind you, but that's your job! They are 94% pure Bamboo rayon that has been developed in the same way other Rayon fiber is, but made from bamboo, and 6% Spandex for stretch. Possible pilling when put in the washing machine with rough textured fabrics.

These socks dye well - no visible nylon! - and they are comfortably sized not too tight on normal-width feet.

I have been ordering these socks for several years but recently the quality just isn't there anymore. I damage out more than I get made. I have had several recent customer complaints that they don't feel like the bamboo socks they used to get from me. Mainly my issue has been with the larger size. Since the quality issue started last year for me I have had at least 1 pair (of the 3 packs) come in size 11-13 come in with picks holes elastic coming out everywhere along the top one sock is flimsier and wider than another these wear streaks left in the actual sock where thread was missing in those areas during manufacturing. Its just too much work to keep getting this many bad pairs and incredibly expensive. What was once a top seller for me has been replace by a different brand and removed from my site and shows.

These socks are still soft but they have changed. The first batches I ordered were thicker fit better and lasted way longer. Things changed over a few years and the size 9's are bigger thinner and wear out faster. The last batch I ordered has white 'heathering' (white fibers in the knit)showing up AFTER they are dyed but only on about half of the socks. Not knowing I prewashed which mixed up all of the 180 pairs in the order. I do a labor-intensive dye technique in which each pair is unique so now I have pairs in which one sock has white 'heathering' and one does not. Please Dharma if you can go back to the original bamboo socks - they were GREAT! These are good and people love the softness but I am losing customers because their toes poke through the socks too soon.

Out of 4 different orders I got a good pair once. Dharma has been great in returning the bad pairs but Im not trying these again. The loops at the elastic top are messy and not secure. On some pairs if you stretch the elastic top (like you would to put it on your foot) they stay stretched out while other pairs snap back into their original shape. After one pre wash in synthapol the threads and loops were already becoming undone. Theres no way these socks can withstand multiple washes if this is the effect after only one! I will not order again until the quality issues are under control I cannot sell socks like this and I dont want to. Proceed with extreme caution. :

There are so many great things to say about these socks.1. I cannot keep them in stock.2. Ecologicaly sound.3. Takes dye extremely well.4. Very soft.5. Wears like iron.6. Seems to be less likely to slip on smooth floors than cotton or acrylics.7. Lycra well hidden much better than in most cotton socks very important in dyeing.8. Well I COULD go on and on.9. ORDER EXTRA!!!!!ORDER MORE THAN YOU NEED THEY DO GET BACK ORDERED OFTEN!!

Seem like nice socks but they run very small. I wear a 7 12 wide shoe and the 9-11 doesn't fit. The foot is narrow and hard to get on. The ankle part is *very* tight uncomfortable and unwearable. I'm not inclined to risk trying the larger size.

Best socks ever. I've been using these for a few years now . I still use the cotton because sometimes you want a more thicker sock but these are so soft and dye great. Can't wait for them to be back in stock cuz I'm out.

DO NOT WASH ON HOT!!!! These socks are seemly the perfect sock but we made the mistake of washing them on hot and they shrunk 2" per size. The 10" heel to toe became 8" and vice versa. Our mistake and now we can only sell them as women's socks... Whoops!

I cannot say enough good things about these socks. They are super soft they take dye like a dream. The only thing I will warn is that they WILL shrink in the dryer so they must by line dried. But that does not take away from the 5 stars! I have been through alot of trials with socks and these are the SOCKS.

These are very soft feel great on the skin. They are sized for someone with Big Feet or are men's sizes. I wear a women's size 7 shoe and they had at least 1 12" of extra toe room. Gave to my daughter who wears a size 10 and they fit her just fine.

LOVE THEM but they do run smaller than the chart states. 9-11 fits a woman 6-8 I would say and the 11-13 is more so a woman's 9-11. Just m opinion not sure if anyone else found this true. Other than that they die up nicely and are super soft to the touch!

These are not what I expected. I thought they would be like lightweight cotton socks. But they are like heavy weight sport socks. Not at all what I was looking for. I hope you also make available a cotton or bamboo light weightthin sock. It is hard to find them these days as they are usually mostly polyester or spandex.
