This hot little dress has a classic camisole style neckline and spaghetti straps. 100% cotton rib knit and sewn with cotton thread for fantastic dyeing. Double stitched binding at arms and neck. Rib knit shrinks a few inches in length upon washing. Layer it over a snug fitting tee shirt or add a jacket on top to change the look - versatile!

The short dress is really more like a long tunic.Most of my customers buy this to wear with pants or leggings. It is a bit too short to wear as dress.It's cut rather on the large size. Very stretchy.Dyes well

This dress definitely gets shorter after dyeing (mid-thigh length). It also runs a bit wide. I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that the fabric gets scratchy after dyeing with Procion dyes. It's not super-itchy but it definitely gets rougher and worn-looking (looks old when freshly-dyed). I wouldn't buy this again.

this is a wonderful dress. it has a perfect cut and is made of perfect 100% cotton cloth. i have worn the short one as my nightgown for the past at least ten years. i order two about once a year and am always so glad this item is still available.

perfect. i ordered one and immediately ordered another. i wear a size S in woven shirts but ordered L so that the ribbed cotton would not cling. the cloth is of an excellent weight (slightly heavy) and feeling. dharma's fair trade concerns also please me.
