Yes, they're floppy, hence the name. They keep the sun off like nobody's business, and they are our best selling hat. 100% french terry sewn with cotton thread. Cut oversize to shrink to fit. Soft, so easy to tie-dye. Perfect for keeping the sun off that delicate skin.

These tie-dye great! Boy do they fly out of my booth on hot summer days! And I make more $$ when I dye them to match clothing for "sets".

The kids dyed them with really great colors but unfortunately they are a bit more floppy than I expected and they end up pushing the brim all the way back and then the kids don't get the sun protection I'd like. They are quite proud of how they look (ages 4 and 6) because they dyed them on their own- definitely a fashion statement!
