A popular shirt with tie dyers and screen printers. Even harder to find though, than Gildan's regular shirt is their PFD tee for dyers. Made from 100% 6.1 oz. Compacted Cotton Jersey. Seamless double needle collars, taped neck and shoulders and double needle hems. Ultra tight knit surface for printing. PFD only sewn with cotton thread for better dyeing. A good quality shirt at a great price. Not pre-shrunk.

IMPORTANT: If you have been buying this PFD shirt for years, Gildan has stopped bleaching and optically whitening it. New shipments are now an off-white color - true PFD. Fantastic for garment dyeing, and fine for tie-dye where white is not a large part of the pattern. Can be lightened quite successfully with bleach and optic whiteners.  For a bleached white tee with cotton thread, but is a much finer jersey, see 6901-WHIT.

This has been my longtime favorite tshirt to tie-dye with. I've kept several for myself and they are truly very comfortable. Always take the dye very well. Size runs a little smaller than the Hanes tshirts.

These shirts are great for tall men! It's so hard to find shirts that are long enough for my husband but these are perfect and I was shocked by how quickly they were delivered.

I really like the weight of these shirts and that they are stitched with cotton thread. Have not noticed too much difference in dyeing with the unbleached fabric.

I made the mistake of listening to the reviews that say these run small. These do not run small. People who think these run small need to rethink their own size. The XL is huge! I will have a lot of nightshirts now. Fabric feels high quality but they are very off-white didn't get much lighter with bleach. I haven't dyed them yet though so it might be fine.

These are great to dye. Not as soft as the Hanes Beefy T but they take dye well and it's good to have cotton thread.
