The fabric is nice takes dye beautifully. The seams are not exactly centered on the sides on the first two that I dyed which only matters if you are trying to do a symmetrical design (I was). If you are ordering x-small check the length as it is VERY long on my toddler (down past her knees). She's just over one year old and an average height and weight. It fits nicely around her chest. The size small for my three year old is just right a tiny bit snug in the chest but the length is much more reasonable.

Definitely runs very small and long in the torso. Size M is tight on my below-average sized 9 year old. The fabric is a nice weight and stays soft after dying and washing.

BEWARE: Shirts run VERY small! The overall quality of the shirts is ok the fabric is soft and takes on dye very well. However the fabric is also thin and it shrank a lot on top of running small to begin with. It has the benefit of being sewn with cotton thread so your finished product won't have bright white stitching that stands out against the rest of the dyed shirt. I won't be ordering it again though because the sizing was a huge disappointment for a large group of Girl Scouts that has been tie dyeing for many years. Most of the shirts ended up being too small to wear. I wouldn't discourage anyone to order this shirt but I would highly recommend to go up TWO sizes from the size you usually order in other ready to wear clothing items.
