Scooped neck hand crochet top yoke with double shell fan design. Natural colored cotton muslin top is slightly gathered into the cotton crochet yoke. Double wooden buttons at back neckline. Rolled hem at bottom with crochet scalloped edging. Side slits are 5" and are also edged in crochet. Yoke bottom edge and armhole edges are embellished with a small scalloped crochet edge. Oversized to allow for shrinkage.
Warm natural colored beige cotton crochet yarn and natural muslin top takes Procion Fiber Reactive Dye beautifully in solid colors. Keep in mind that dyes are transparent. The natural coloring of this top will combine with whatever color you dye it. So if you dye it a light shade of blue, the finished color result will appear as a greenish (teal blue) tint. Dye it red and it will end up with a warm orangey glow to the red. This beautifully made top looks great undyed, too!
