These Bleached Cotton Canvas Backpacks are made with a 100% Cotton Canvas exterior, Polyester interior and sewn with polyester thread. You can, dye, paint, marker, marble, and embellish them! The 12 oz. Cotton Canvas is strong and a perfect place to display your art. We have a single pocket and a double pocket. Each pack is 16" x 11" x 5" with lots of storage space. The single pocket provides a larger area for design and has 5 interior pockets for smaller items. The double pocket has 2 exterior pockets, 2 side pockets for drinks, and 5 interior pockets for smaller items.

I did one of each the single pocket and double pocket. Double pocket has elastic on the side water bottle pockets single does not. Also the single was only cotton on the outside face. The part on the outside that's facing your back and the straps were some kind of poly that didn't dye at all. Would recommend both but the double pocket is better for that all over dyed look.

I used a pencil on the side that's against your back and I could still see the pencil line after it was dyed. It did take dye though. Took graphite as well.
