I also have the original edition of this book. It is the most popular tie-dye book among my tie-dye workshop attendees! I do not like the smaller size format of the new edition the pictures are smaller as is the print and the book does not lay open. But this is an important book on the subject

The book is interesting as the history of the emergence of tie-die. But for the beginner there is not enough clear structure of actions and councils. Instead they are scattered throughout the text and you have to look for information by leafing through the book.
