Hello my name is Jeremy Hopke and i make tie dyes. i've been making tie dyes for almost 4 years now. I go to itt-tech for college and I work at Petco till i graduate. I started out using walmart dies, rubber bands and plastic bags for my dyes. That was untill I found Dharma Trading Co, which has supplied me for the past 3 years. Now instead of walmart dies I use Dharma fiber reactive Procion dyes, and also an assortment of chemicals such as soda ash, urea, and Dharma Professional Textile Detergent which is a substute for Synthrapol. I still use rubber bands but only on my spirals but I use artifical sinew for everything else. Instead of using plastic bags I now use shallow plastic tubs and keep the at a pretty hot temp for almost 24 hours. I would of never started tie dying if it wasnt for my wonderful amazing girlfriend. She's been with me from the start; it just started out as a date making some tie dyes bonding then I fell in love with the art of making the tie dyes. I always love to learn more and teach people who are just starting. I hope I'll be making tie dyes till the day I dye! Thanks to Dharma Trading with out you guys I wouldnt be making great tie dyes.

Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes
This is the #1 best dye we recommend for tie-dye, batik, dye-painting or screening, etc. on cotton, rayon, bamboo, Tencel®, linen and other natural fibers. Also for solid color dyeing and many other techniques!
Flat Sinew
Flat Sinew is a flat, waxed polyester thread that is waterproof, rot proof, resistant to stretch, and extremely strong. Use for tie-dye instead of rubber bands.
