Creative Stamping Starter Set

Here's a great stamping kit inspired by Sherrill Kahn's book, Creative Stamping with Mixed Media Techniques (now out of print, so sorry to say). In it you'll find great materials to create your own unique works of stamp art on clothing, fabric and more! cut out or carve your own stamps, then apply the paint with the foam brushes and stamp away. You will get really great results if you stamp on your own hand dyed fabrics! Add a little foil and you will have a visually rich result and might find your friends asking to buy it! Great for making your own unique quilt fabrics.

Here's what's in the kit:
1- Lumiere/Neopaque Mini Set (7 metallic colors and black and white opaques)
3 - Moldable Foam Blocks - mold per instructions
1 - Sure Stamp Flexible Printing Plates - cut with scissors or exacto knife
3 - 1" Foam Brushes

The contents of the kit will get you going on many stamping tecniques for fabric. For additional fun, add some Dye-Na-Flow flowable paints or Jacquard Textile Colors which Sherrill had also recommended in her book. Think about the surfaces you'd like to work on; our silk scarves or neckties, any of our clothing blanks, or our many cotton and silk fabrics - the possibilities are endless.
