MCN stands for merino, cashmere and nylon, and this may be the perfect sock blend. Start with superwash merino wool for luster and warmth, add cashmere for buttery softness and bloom, and nylon for strength. It's great for more than socks, of course. Four-ply, smooth and round, this yarn wears well. Machine wash gently, dry flat.

I really wanted to love this - it's soft and plump. But right now after carefully dying and washing (yes - I know what I'm doing) I'm picking apart a horribly felted hank of what is probably now useless yarn. I won't buy this one again.

Dyed up wonderfully and I had no problem with felting. It's super soft with a lovely springiness.
