Lamb's Pride Worsted is a great yarn for any worsted weight project, including sweaters, blankets, hats and more. Single-ply wool, with 15% mohair added to bring luster and durability to this basic yarn. Takes a bit longer to felt than other yarns, but the result is a dense fabric with a slight pebbly effect. Dyes beautifully and the mohair gives it a soft shine and halo.

This yarn is a single ply next to skin soft and it soaks up the dye! This would be a perfect yarn for the new dyer to play around with. Be aware that if you put straight dye into a dye bath with this yarn the point you placed the dye in the pot is going to be very dark and it won't spread to other areas so if you're looking for an even tone you'll need to mix the dye in with the water first if you're looking for shifting colors and variation this is definitely your yarn!Not only does it dye well it knits up wonderfully and is a pleasure to knit with. If my fingers don't like the texture of a yarn I won't buy it again. This yarn is definitely a buy again yarn!

This is one of my favorite yarns. I have not dyed this yet but I can't wait to dye it any color. It is single strand and it is so easy to crochet or knit with.
