A true sport weight, Kona Sport is a workhorse for durable but soft and lightweight garments. Four plies, machine washable on a gentle cycle. Dry flat or in the dryer on "air" setting.

Buying yarn online is so hard. Such a big part of yarn shopping is the touch! That being said I am extremely happy with this yarn! It is so very soft and it takes dye beautifully! I can't wait to knit with it! I've experienced several wools that wind up a bit hairy in the dyeing process but the Kona stays soft and the end product isn't hazy or hairy at all! I can imagine it will have gorgeous stitch definition! 1010 will buy again and would definitely recommend to others!

Wonderful sock yarn!! It's soft stretchy and takes color fabulously. I'm about to order five more for the bulk price it's that great!!

Kona Sport is always nice to knit with. I've dyed it all sorts of colors with different methods and it looks great every time.

Used the microwave method to apply acid dyes. Very easy and great results.In addition to dyeing well this yarn feels great while knitting. I bought and dyed some of this yarn a year ago and came back for more.

Soft knits up beautifully great stitch definition. The natural color is so nice that I've yet to dye any of it. Using it for a newborn dress next will dye some for a shawl. I haven't done a WPI test but it seems a little thin for sport weight. Would definitely buy again.
