Bit tricky to get this stuff to dye evenly.  The roving tends to clump to itself so you have a choice of doing a lot of stirring or agitating while you dye which tends to lead to tangles and clumps or being gentle with it which means that there will be white or pale portions.  The Dharma Procion dyes tends to produce a more artificially bright or garish colour on this tencel which when added to felting products with subtler fibers can be a little shocking.  It can be quite pretty if used sparingly with nuno pulling into tight wavy patterns and maintaining its sheen even under a light layer of merino.

Love this. Spins like a dream and takes the dye vibrantly. If well prepared dyes as evenly as any other roving. Just make sure you hydrated for at least 4 hours.

I am sure the fiber is great at its job but I am still trying to figure out how to get the best colour with this one.
