Cute hat. Questionable seam allowance.
These buckets came from a new manufacturer who didn't quite nail the seam game. They look great, feel great, and will totally handle a few adventures, but they're not made for the long haul.
Due to some feedback about seams unraveling, we strongly recommend hand washing. We're not working with this manufacturer again and have already found a new hat that meets our usual quality standards (#ABH).
These are here for a good time, not a long time and we're offering them at cost because we'd rather see them get worn and loved than sit in a box.

Medium - approx. 22 3/4" Circumference unwashed and approx. 22" washed (crown height 3 1/2") Large - approx. 23 1/4" Circumference unwashed and approx. 23" washed (crown height 3 1/4") XL - approx. 24 3/4" Circumference unwashed and approx. 24" washed (crown height 3") The depth of the crown gets smaller as the hats get larger. These were copied after our popular ABH, ABH2, and YBH and should fit the same as they did before.

Easy to tie because the brims arent stiff. However after machine washing about a third of them split along one of the side seams. They might be OK on a delicate cycle or hand washing about. Theyre also not as deep as the previous version. All in all more of an ornament than a good hat.

The XLs are maybe the same size as the adult before seem a little smaller and 3 of the 6 I dyed so far split their seams and frayed to the point I can't repair or sell. The Ls are made out of like 30% cotton at most did not hold the dye and are suuuuper pale. Also had some small seam splitting on the bottom hatbrim seam on 2 of the 6 I dyed. Boo.
