Now we exclusively use Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes, soda ash, urea, Sodium Alginate and Dharma Professional Textile Detergent. The results are amazing! No matter what you want Dharma has it and if you have questions they are answered in minutes! I also highly recommend TrueTieDye instructional videos. After watching them you can do anything! Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes
This is the #1 best dye we recommend for tie-dye, batik, dye-painting or screening, etc. on cotton, rayon, bamboo, Tencel®, linen and other natural fibers. Also for solid color dyeing and many other techniques!
Soda Ash Fixer
Soda Ash (Pure Dense Sodium Carbonate) is required to 'fix' or 'make permanent' Dharma Fiber Reactive Dyes. Available in 1, 5, 10, and 25 lb. sizes at discount prices.
Urea
Used for tie-dye and direct application dyeing with Fiber Reactive Dyes to yield deeper, brighter colors.
Sodium Alginate Thickener
The most economical thickener for Fiber Reactive Dyes and works as a thickener for other liquids as well, including all liquid Silk Dyes.
Dharma Professional Textile Detergent
Non-toxic, less expensive Synthrapol substitute! Used as both a prewash and as an afterwash....a "must have" for dyers!
